What’s good — I’m Jordan, aka KNWSLF.

I’m a creator, educator, and community builder. My art and my work sit at the intersection of Black identity, cultural memory, and personal growth. From murals to workshops, card decks to courses, I use creative expression to help people see themselves more clearly and imagine new possibilities for who they are becoming.

It took me over 25 years to land on “creator” as my core identity, and that will probably keep evolving. But for now, it's the title that allows me to show up fully as a multi-passionate creator.

Being a multipassionate creator…

Artistically, I primarily work in pen and ink, digital painting, traditional painting, and occasional screen printing. I create prints, murals, illustrations, and visual reflections that speak to heritage, affirmation, and introspection. Which is why as an artisit I took up the name KNWSLF, which stands for KNowledge, Wisdom, Self Love, and Fellowship!

As an educator, I have a 10+ year career in in hgher education as well as lead courses, workshops, and experiences rooted in self-work, cultural reflection, and creative process. Whether in a classroom, studio, or circle of chairs, I use creativity to help people process life and connect more deeply with themselves and each other.

I’m also passionate about music, movies, and movement. You can probably catch me leading jump rope classes in the park somewhere.

Let’s Create!

Thanks for taking a moment to learn a little more about me and my creative passions. Fellowship is in my name, so I would love to stay connected whether through art, education, or movement!
